VOLLEYBALL SEASON NEARS: Andalusia has high hopes for going into year

The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs wrapped up summer volleyball action and have their sights set on the 2019 regular season opener later this month.

Andalusia opens up the season in Class 4A, Area 2 action at home against the Hillcrest Lady Jaguars on Aug. 22 at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs stay at home and in area play when they take on Clarke County on Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m.

On Aug. 27, Andalusia will take on the Kinston Lady Bulldogs at home beginning at 6 p.m.

Andalusia takes on T.R. Miller on Sept. 3 at home at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs hit the road for the first time on Sept. 5 when they take on the Straughn Lady Tigers at 4 p.m.

Andalusia travels to again on Sept. 9 for a match with the Pleasant Home Lady Eagles beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Andalusia comes back home on Sept. 12 for an area match against Monroe County at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs travel to Grove Hill on Sept. 16 for an area match against the Clarke County Lady Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

Andalusia makes a short trip to Opp on Sept. 17 for a rivalry match against the Lady Bobcats beginning at 6 p.m.

On Sept. 23, Andalusia travels to Kinston to take on the Lady Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs get back into area play on Sept. 30 with a road trip to Evergreen for a match with the Hillcrest Lady Jaguars at 4:30 p.m.

Andalusia travels to Brewton on Oct. 3 for a battle with the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers beginning at 6 p.m.

Andalusia wraps up area play on Oct. 8 with a road match against Monroe County beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs close out the regular season on Oct. 14 with a home game against the Opp Lady Bobcats beginning at 2 p.m.
