Two charged in death of Michael Davis

The Opp Police Department arrested two people in connection with the murder of Michael Davis.
Tuesday afternoon The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department was called by the Opp police to help search lake Frank Jackson for the body of a possible murder victim.
Around 6:04 p.m., on Tuesday, the body of Davis was located on New Hope Road just south of Opp, with an apparent gunshot wound.
The body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
Mark Anthony Hines was located in the Brooksville Community and has been arrested and charged with Abuse of a Corpse and held on a $50,000 bond.
Wednesday morning around 9:49 a.m., Anthony Siler, 46, was located at a residence in the Union Grove Community on Fleeta Road by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Covington County Sheriff’s Posse K-9 Unit. The Opp Police Department has arrested and charged Siler of Opp, with murder related to the death of Davis.
