Red Level is ready for a new season

Red Level is ready for a new season as it kicks of play with Zion Chapel on August 30.
The Tigers went 5-5 last season and finished fifth in 1A Region 2.
Last season the Rebels beat Red Level 40-33.
The teams have met three times, with Zion Chapel winning twice and Red Level just once.
The Tigers are in 1A Region 2 with coach Kenny Skipper at the helm.
They will face their first region test on Sept. 6 against McKenzie. Red Level defeated their up-the-road opponent 12-6 last season.
Next, the Tigers will travel to play in-county opponent Pleasant Home on Sept. 13. The Tigers defeated the Eagles 15-14 last season.
On Sept. 20, the Tigers will travel to Coffee County to take on Kinston. Red Level won a close game against Kinston in 2018, winning 41-40.
Next, they will travel to Lowndes County to play Calhoun, a team they shutout 54-0 last season.
On Oct. 4, Florala will come to Bobby Dye Field for region play. Florala defeated Red Level 68-26 last season.
Brantley will travel to Red Level on Oct. 11, and Red Level will travel to Elba on Oct. 18. Brantley and Elba both beat Red Level in 2018, 53-14 and 41-6, respectively.
On Oct. 25, Red Level takes on Georgiana, and on Nov. 1, they play host to Fruitdale.
Georgiana shutout Red Level 40-0 and Fruitdale lost to Red Level 20-13.
