Wilson headed to AJHS; Anderson to alternative school
Victoria Anderson and Ray Wilson are exchanging jobs.
Anderson, the assistant principal at Andalusia Junior High School, is moving to the central office, where she will be the administrator of the alternative school, manage textbooks and serve as the system’s recruiting coordinator, among other duties.
Wilson, who currently serves as alternative school administrator, will become assistant principal of Andalusia Junior High School.
The Andalusia Board of Education approved those and other personnel decisions Monday.
They also:
• hired Melissa R. Alday as a sixth grade teacher at Andalusia Elementary.
• hired Maklyn Hudson as an English teacher at Andalusia High School.
• hired Vivian Willis as a special education teacher at Andalusia High School.
• transferred Kim Lawrence from child nutrition worker at AHS to paraprofessional at Andalusia Elementary.
• granted a leave of absence to Katie Odom, chief school financial officer.
