There are four Covington County high school softball teams that are set to compete in the South regional softball tournaments in Gulf Shores this week.

Andalusia, Opp, Pleasant Home and Red Level will be in action in the 2019 regional softball tournament.

CLASS 1A

In Class 1A, Pleasant Home will take on Kinston at noon on Thursday, May 9.

If the Lady Eagles win, the will play the winner of Sweet Water and Billingsley at 6 p.m. If the lose, the will play at 4:30 p.m., in the first elimination game of the tournament.

Red Level will take on Brantley at noon on Thursday.

If they win, they will play at 6 p.m., against the winner of Isabella and Millry. If they lose, they will play at 4:30 p.m.

CLASS 3A

In the Class 3A action, Opp will play Excel at 9 a.m., on Thursday.

If they win, the Lady Bobcats will play the winner between Houston Academy and Thomasville at 4:30 p.m.

If they lose, they will play at 3 p.m.

CLASS 4A

Andalusia will play Dale County at 10:30 on Thursday.

If they win they will play the winner between UMS-Wright and LAMP at 4:30 p.m.

If they lose, they will play at 3 p.m.
