The LBWCC Lady Saints split a Tuesday series against Coastal Alabama East in Andalusia.

GAME ONE

COASTAL EAST 3, LBWCC 1

The LBWCC Lady Saints’ softball team put up a strong fight, but a late rally pushed Coastal-Alabama East to a 3-1 victory.

Katelynn Shiver launched a solo home run over the fence in dead center to tie the game.

Coastal Alabama came back for the win.

GAME TWO

LBWCC 12 ,

COASTAL EAST 4

The Lady Saints finished the day with a 12-4 win.

Alexis Griffin got things going in the bottom of the first inning with a single.

Griffin stole second and then came around to score off of a single from Lainey Wells.

Powell followed with a double to give the Lady Saints a 2-0 lead.

Two batters later, Lauren Fox drove in Powell on a ground out.

Powell led the Lady Saints with three RBIs.
