Florala Wildcats fall to Elba

The Florala Wildcats fell behind late as they lost 5-4 to the Elba Tigers on Tuesday night in Florala.
Jacob Hammac got the start on the mound and worked a strong game.
The game stayed scoreless for the first three innings before Elba was able to take a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth.
Hammac started the bottom of the fourth inning with a double and later scored off of a sacrifice fly.
Elba went back up in the top of the fifth inning after scoring off of an error.
Lee Stewart singled to start the bottom of the sixth inning and scored when Caleb Wood singled.
Wood then gave the Wildcats the lead as he came around to score on sacrifice fly off of the bat of Justin Paul.
In the top of the sixth inning, Hammac struck out a pair of batters to keep the Wildcats up 3-2.
Florala loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth inning, but could score a run.
Due to reaching his pitch limit, Hammac was forced to leave the game in the top of the seventh and Elba plated a pair of runs to pick up the win.
