5th earthquake recorded nearby

A fifth earthquake in a three-week period hit the Alabama-Florida border area Sunday.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck an area two miles east of Century, Fla. Century is just across the state line from Flomaton, Ala.
The first earthquake was March 6, the second was March 11, and two more occurred March 13.
The strongest of those was a 3.1 magnitude quake on March 6.
The five earthquakes recorded near the Alabama-Florida state line since March 6 are part of the “normal seismic activity,” of the area, according to the director of Alabama’s Geological Investigations Program
