The Florala Wildcats had their bats going as they picked up an 8-1 win over the McKenzie Tigers on Tuesday in Florala.
“I thought we did a great job pitching on the mound,” Florala head coach Tyler Zessin said. “Caleb Wood got us started and Hagen Hughes came in and gave us some great work. We are starting to find our bats, but have to be better executing bunts.”
Wood earned the win on the mound and also went 3-for-3 at the plate win on RBI.
Justin Paul was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
