Red Level blows out Hillcrest

The Red Level Tigers scored early and ofter on their way to 17-3 rout over the Hillcrest-Evergreen Jaguars on Monday night in Red Level.
In the bottom of the first inning, the Tigers took advantage with several walks, errors and hits as they plated nine runs in the opening frame.
Tucker Livings went 2-for-4 with two RBIs at the plate and struck out six batters in two innings of working without allowing a base runner.
Chance Russell finished the game 1-for-1 with two walks and four runs scored.
Kade Green didn’t record an official at bat, but drove in a pair of runs and drew a pair of walks.
Braxton Lee had went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.
“I thought both teams played pretty well tonight,” Red Level head coach Todd Smith said. “We played fundamentally sound baseball, ran the bases well and our pitchers did a good job for us. Braxton Lee did a great job coming in relief to close out the game.”
Red Level won the JV game 19-6.
Brett Jordan, Triston Bedell and Steven Padgett drove in two runs each.
William Adams, Kennith Huckabaa, Walker Simmons and Noah Williams drove in one run each.
