CCB Community Bank is pleased to announce Tari McClung as its new marketing and public relations director, and Taylor Cross as its new digital marketing administrator.
McClung joined CCB in 2013 as the director of retail operations, overseeing CCB’s four locations.
“Tari has a passion for working with the community and has over 20 years in different fields of banking, which makes her a great fit for this new role, Wem Mellown, president of CCB, said.
After graduating from Andalusia High School, McClung attended Faulkner University where she earned a degree in business administration. She graduated from Alabama Banking School in 2008, and in 2018 received her certification from the American Bankers Association Marketing School.
McClung is very active in the community, serving on the LBWCC Foundation Board. She and her and husband, Shon McClung, are certified foster parents in Covington County. A lifelong resident of Covington County, she and her husband are the parents of three children, Sarah, Emma and Madelyn.
Taylor, also an Andalusia native, joined CCB in 2012 as a member of the IT department. Prior to joining to CCB, Cross spent seven years as a defense contractor at various locations around the country.
“With the quickly changing technology and recent addition of social media and digital marketing at CCB, it was crucial to have someone specialized in this area in our marketing department,” McClung said.
Cross is a graduate of Pleasant Home School and LBW Community College with a degrees in both industrial electronics and electricity technology. He graduated from Alabama Banking School in 2017. Cross resides in Andalusia with his wife, Tabitha, and son, Connor.
