With time winding down in the first period, Gunter fired up a shot from beyond halfcourt and the ball banked off the glass and into the net to put Pleasant Home up 24-7 at the end of the first period.
The Lady Eagles continued to pour on the scoring throughout the remainder of the game as they cruised to a 68-33 victory.
Baldwin led the Lady Eagles with 28 points, 16 rebounds, five blocks and five assists.
Gunter added 15 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Garner tacked on 12 points.
Sharae Coleman led the Lady Wildcats with seven points.
Taylor Mounted finished the game with six points for Florala.
“That was a very complete game for us,” Pleasant Home head coach Tony Wilson said. “Looking at the scoreboard, we are right where we want to be defensively. They had 33 points. That’s our range where we want to be. I don’t want to do more than 35. The girls just had then intensity tonight. We shot the ball extremely well. We got points out of girls tonight that we don’t always get. Some of our guards weren’t so hot tonight, but had two more that stepped up and picked up some scoring. I was real proud of that and we didn’t give up many second-chance opportunities. I thought we played our defense the way we wanted to play our defense.”
With the win, the Lady Eagles will take on Westminster Christian-Mountain Brook on Thursday in the Class 1A Southwest Regional semifinals in Montgomery.
