Lucy McArtan Doyle Brady
Mrs. Lucy McArtan Doyle Brady, age 86, of Andalusia, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2019, at Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 28, at the First Presbyterian Church with Brother Bob Madsen officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eliza Brady and Jim Wade of Franklin, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Winfield and Meredith Brady of Andalusia; grandchildren, Brady McArtan Wade, Riley Elizabeth Wade, Carson Pierce Brady, and Anna Camille Brady.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Winfield Brady.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to The First Presbyterian Church.

BILL R. CLARK
Mr. Bill R. Clark, age 95, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Jan. 24, 2019, at Andalusia Manor.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., today, Fri., Jan. 25, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Brother Frankie McVay officiating the service.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William Barry and Judy Bullard Clark, granddaughter, Amber Marie Clark, all of Andalusia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Clark.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be sent to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.

Mrs. Flonell Baker Douglas, 96, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Jan. 22, 2019, at Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Sat., Jan. 26, at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Jason Thrower officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m., in the First United Methodist Church sanctuary.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie Hamby Casey and husband Bill of Mobile; two sons, David Alton Hamby and William Albert Hamby, both of Andalusia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henry Douglas.

ELLIE NATHAN
AUSTIN RAY
Mr. Ellie Ray, 88, formerly of Andalusia, passed away at home in Oneonta after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born Jan. 26, 1930, in Rosa, Ala., and lived there until joining the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1950 – 1954 as Airman First Class. He was an Auburn University graduate in electrical engineering and was a proud life long Auburn Tiger fan. He retired from Alabama Electric Cooperative Exchange in Andalusia after 48 years of employment. He leaves behind a multitude of family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Fri., Jan. 25, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Herb Carlisle will officiate the service. The interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Rose Hill along side his wife, Jo. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., today, Friday at Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his sister, Delene Moorer and her husband Conrad of Naples, Fla.; two nephews, Bryan Morton and wife Ada, Bruce Morton and wife Judy, all of Oneonta, Ala.; a niece, Wendy Moorer Seitzinger, of Naples, Fla.; along with many great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Sarah Ray; a sister, Annie Ray Gay, and his loving wife of 54 years, Josephine Hammett Ray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
