Ticket deadline for Chamber’s annual banquet is Friday

Locals have until Friday to secure tickets for the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce 96th Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet next Thursday.
This year’s event celebrates Alabama’s Bicentennial with the theme “Sweet Home Andalusia.”
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Kiwanis Community Center.
Robert J. Darling, Lt. Col. USMC (Retired) will be the guest speaker.
Darling is the author of “24 Hours Inside the President’s Bunker, 9/11/01: The White House,” and is the president and CEO of Quantitative Analytics, LLC, and Turning Point Crisis Management-USA, a crisis leadership, decision making, and management consulting company located in Stafford, Va.
Following dinner, introductions of the Chamber’s past presidents, outgoing and present board of directors and officers, and special guests will be made. The Distinguished Service Award, President’s Award, Business of the Year Awards, Teachers of the Year, Student of the Year and other prominent community awards will also be presented.
Reserved premier seating for 16 along with stage sponsorship and voice recognition is $1,500.
Reserved premier seating for 12 is $750.
Reserved seating for 8 is $500
Reserved seating for four is $250
Individual tickets for Chamber members can be purchased for $30, or general admission tickets for $35.
