The Covington County Child Advocacy Center is taking orders for its spring box lunch sale.

Kaci Perry, director of the center, said support for the semi-annual fundraiser has been great to date.

The center provides forensic interviews and counseling sessions for child abuse victims, at no cost to the families.

“We look forward to continuing to restore smiles to the sweet faces of abused children in Covington County,” Perry said. “ In 2018, we provided 133 forensic interviews and 293 counseling sessions to abused children and their families. Because of the generosity of our community all of these services are provided at no cost to these families.”

The CAC opened in the spring of 2015 on the campus of Andalusia Health.

The lunch sale is set for Wed., Feb. 6. Pick-up will be at Southside Baptist Church or delivery will be available from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Cost is $10 per box and donations are also welcome.

The box includes Chicken Shack chicken salad, fresh fruit bowl, pickles, fresh baked yeast roll, dessert, a bag of chips and a surprise.

Deadline to order is Thurs., Jan. 31.
