Andalusia Elementary School will collect items to send to hurricane victims this week.
“Helping others is part of our seven habits,” AES teacher Jessica Tucker said, referring to the school’s Leader in Me program, which teaches the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. “It is a great opportunity to demonstrate how we ‘Sharpen the Saw’ by reaching out to those in need.”
If anyone if interested in participating, send items to AES by Fri., Oct. 26.
The items needed are batteries, lanterns, flashlights, tarps, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, diapers/formula, and non-perishable food.
