The Red Level Tigers (0-1) look for a strong start in region play as they get ready to take on the McKenzie Tigers (0-1) on Friday in McKenzie.
“This is kind of like a rivalry game for us,” Red Level head coach Kenny Skipper said. “We are so close to each other and we are treating this like a rivaly game.”
Skipper said he hopes to see big improvement from his team this week.
“We’ve got a week under our belt now,” Skipper said. “I expect for us to make some huge gains this week.”
Red Level put up a strong fight last week when they fell to Class 2A Zion Chapel 40-33.
“Last week was heartbreaking,” Skipper said. “The guys have bounced back and are ready to get back at it.”
McKenzie is also winless this year after falling to Houston Academy 48-12 last week.
Red Level and McKenzie are scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m., Friday in McKenzie.
