For the second-straight year, the Opp Lady Bobcats have started the season by winning Kinston’s Amelia Rhoades Volleyball Tournament in Kinston.

Opp opened up the tournament with a 2-0 win over Geneva.

Addie Jacobs was the star for the Lady Bobcats picking up six blocks, four kills and onc ace.

The Lady Bobcats fell 2-1 to Pleasant Home before ending pool play with a 2-0 win over Straughn.

In the semifinals, Opp picked up a 2-0 win over Kinston.

Opp faced off with Pleasant Home in the championship and picked up a 2-0 win.

Molly Meeks had seven kills, Ansley Foster had 11 assists and Haylee Brundidge had 10 digs.
