The South Alabama Gun Club is expecting another big crowd at the 35th Annual Andalusia Gun and Knife Show to be held next weekend at the Kiwanis Community Center.
“We anticipate over 3,000 people to attend. It is a big event for the community and brings a lot of people from around the surrounding area into our city,” Michael Andrews said. “We want to invite everyone to come out and see what it’s all about. We will have approximately 180 tables with a number of the same vendors from years past, along with a few new vendors.”
The show will have collectors and dealers from across the area gathering to sell and trade. There will be modern and antique guns and knives, as well as accessories and many other items for firearms.
“There will be vendors that customize guns and knives and vendors that specialize in reloading ammunition will be back.”
“We want to invite everyone to stop by and support the club, “Andrews said. “It’s the perfect time to upgrade your hunting rifle or sporting handgun. It’s also a great opportunity if you are considering trading in or selling your firearms. Several vendors will be on hand to buy or trade.”
The event will be held Saturday, August 18, from 9 am – 5 pm, and Sunday, August 19, from 11 am- 4 pm. Admission to the show is $5.00 per person and children under 12 get in free.
Food and refreshments provided by club members are also available on the premises.
