HENRY CALDWELL III

Mr. Henry Caldwell III passed away Sun., May 6, 2018.

He was born in Mobile.

Mr. Caldwell was predeceased by his parents, Henry Caldwell, II and S.E. Peagler Caldwell; three brothers, Ezell Jackson, Freddie Lee Caldwell and Donald Caldwell.

He leaves to cherish fond memories; a loving and devoted companion Peggy A. James; a daughter, Shauntell Caldwell; two sons, Henry Caldwell, IV and Kevin Caldwell; a sister, Gaye Caldwell-Kent; and a brother, Charlie Caldwell.

Memorial services for Mr. Caldwell will be at Kirk’s Funeral Chapel on Sat., May 12, 2018, with the visitation starting at 1 p.m. and the memorial service starting at 2 p.m.

 

HERMAN EASLEY

1936 – 2018

Mr. Herman Easley, age 81, of Andalusia passed away Sat., May 5, 2018, at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp. Mr. Easley was born August 3, 1936, to the late Jamie Ophie Easley and the late Velma Lee Fowler Easley. He worked with the Waffle House Corp. for nearly 40 years, starting out as a cook and retiring as a District Manager.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Higdon of Andalusia, Casey Easley of Denham Springs, La., and James Robert “Bobby” Easley of Jackson, Ms.; his grandchildren: Kristina Hayles, Brent Easley, Cayden Easley, Catelyn Easley, Larissa Easley, Alyssa Easley, Adrionna Easley, Evan Easley and Logan Slay; his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Lee, Mitchell Lee, Darrell Odom, Chloe Odom, Jacob Gentry, Christopher Manning, and Ryleigh Easley; his sister, Janie Estelle Scroggins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Skipper Easley; his parents, Jamie Ophie and Velma Lee (Fowler) Easley; his sisters, Carrie Lee Gilmore, Mary Miles, Louise Wigle, Joliene Worley, and his brother, James Arthur Easley.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., May 12, 2018, at West Highland Assembly of God with Pastor Eddie Gobbas officiating. Memorialization is by cremation.
