A new vapor shop hopes to offer affordable and quality vapor products in Andalusia.

The idea for the shop came from Scruggs, who always wanted to own his own vape shop.

“It’s just always been an idea of mine,” Scruggs said.

Vaping is the process of using an electronic device to create a vapor from liquid that is then inhaled.

“I’ve always wanted to have an affordable and unique vape shop so I went to my two friends and told them the idea.”

Once Warren and Byrd were on board for the shop, the three started playing around with a name.

“I came up with the name when I thought of like a vape stash, as in a place to store things. Then I decided that Vapor-Stache, like a mustache, was catchier.”

Warren then designed the logo, a large mustache with “The Vapor Stache,” in the middle.

Then they all had to come up with a good place to have the vape shop.

“We chose the old Security Finance building mainly because we wanted an area that had a good traffic count,” Warren said.

“We’ve been working on the building since March.”

By working on it, Warren means the three of them entirely gutted the building, removing the floors and ceiling tiles, and stripping the floors and bathroom.

They added a bar, torched wood trim, painted the walls and added a small waiting area for customers.

“We’re really excited to open up this shop,” Warren said.

“We wanted to a big variety and affordability to people in Andalusia who vape.”

As far as the variety goes, the shop boasts a large amount of flavors and brands.

“We have over 713 bottles of juice, different brands and flavors,” Scruggs said.

The shop has flavors from brands like Aqua, Squeezee, The Bearded Baker, Vapetasia, Bazooka, Hooah, Innevape, Koi, Vaper Bane and Pinup Vapors.

They also sell numerous vapes, mods, coils and starter kits.

“We just have a new selection that people haven’t tried yet,” Scruggs said.

The Vape-Stache is located at 409 West Bypass and is open from Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m. to 8 p.n. On Sundays, the shop is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The soft opening will be on May 5 with a grand opening on May 12.

“Come by, check us out and give us a chance. We’re really excited about this,” Warren said.
