Andalusia Isshinryu Karate’s Kila Owens had a strong performance recently at the IIKA Kelley’s Heroes Classic Karate tournament at Cherokee High School in Rogersville, Tenn.

Owens came out strong and paced her way to a pair first place finishes.

The Straughn High School senior took home first place finishes in women’s black belt kata and women’s black belt weapons.
