AHS earns spot in state title match

The Andalusia High School golf team finished third on Monday at the sectional tournament in Mobile to secure a spot in next week’s state championship in Montgomery.
Andalusia finished with a score of 342.
Parker Kelley paced the Bulldogs with a score 79.
Adam Kilpatrick finished with a score of 80.
Jack McCalman came in with a score of 83.
Cameron Woodard finished with a score of 100.
Xavier Dozier rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs with a 102.
UMS-Wright finished in first place with a score of 297.
Trinity came in second place with a score of 330.
LAMP came in fourth place with a score of 371.
Andalusia will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Montgomery for the state championship at Arrowhead Country Club.
