The Opp Lady Bobcats picked up a pair of big wins over New Brockton on Tuesday in New Brockton.

GAME ONE

In the opening game, the Lady Bobcats cruised out front and held off the Lady Gamecocks for a 5-1 victory.

Riley Walker and Laura Lee Short each finished the game 1-for-3 with a single and one RBI.

Graceanne Spears went 1-for-3 with a single and scored two runs.

Loryn Praytor went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored.

Cassadi Adams was lights out on the mound as she allowed one unearned run and didn’t allow a single hit.

In the final game of the series, the Lady Bobcats pulled away for a 4-2 victory.

Anna Beth Kendrick, Spears and Walker each went 1-for-3 with a single and one run scored.

Walker pitched a complete game allowing two runs and striking out six on the way to the victory.
