The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles surged in the final inning to knock off the Straughn Lady Tigers 5-2 on Tuesday night in Straughn.
Pleasant Home took the lead in the top of the first inning when two-out singles from Ansley Johnson and Bella Worley drove in two runs.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Ashlee Findley singled to get things started for the Lady Tigers.
Colby Adams followed with a double to bring Findley around to score.
Allison Hawkins then singled to score Adams as the Lady Tigers tied the game 2-2 going into the final frame.
In the top of the seventh, Amy Kate Bulger reached first after being hit by a pitch with two outs.
Johnson followed with a single.
Worley put the Lady Eagles out front when she drove in Bulger and Johnson with a double.
Natalie Schwartz the came through with a single to put the Lady Eagles on top 5-2.
After walking the first batter in the bottom of the seventh, Ava Bailey retired the next three batters to give the Lady Eagles a 5-2 victory.
Worley led the Lady Eagles with three RBIs.
Adams and Hawkins each drove in one run.
