Gary Dewayne Brooks

Mr. Gary Dewayne Brooks, age 63, of Andalusia, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his mother, Effie Floyd Brooks; daughter, Christy Foley; son and daughter-in-law, Corey Brooks and Stacy; grandchildren, Ben and Cam Foley and Conner and Caroline Brooks; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda Bush and Richard and Jan Ellison and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Brooks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018, from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Phillip McCollough, Dwayne Seay and Stewart Young will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Harper, Jason Ellison, Chase Ramer, Preston Hughes, Terry Sasser, Jerome Sasser and Renè Johnson.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Mrs. Effie Brooks, 701 Dorsey St., Opp, Alabama.
