A front approaching from the west on Thursday brings the potential of a few strong to severe storms, EMA Director Susan Harris said Tuesday.

The National Weather Service in Mobile says that isolated severe storms with damaging winds and perhaps a brief tornado are possible. There is a slight risk area generally along and west of a line from Andalusia to Mobile. There is marginal risk elsewhere.

The highest chances for severe weather are Thursday morning through evening.
