RLHS Lady Tigers remain undefeated

The Red Level Lady Tigers (7-0) have started the season strong and came away with a pair wins on Thursday in Samson.
RED LEVEL 10,
SAMSON 4
In the opening game, the Lady Tigers went on top early to earn a 10-4 victory.
Red Level took advantage of a slew of Red Level errors in the top of the first inning to take a 4-0 lead.
In the top of the second inning, Elizabeth Cross singled with one out and then a two-out double from Tori Hall put the Lady Tigers on top 5-0.
The Lady Tigers added to their lead in the top of the third inning.
Olivia Whitefield scored on a dropped third strike and then a sacrifice fly drove in Alexis Perdue.
In the top of the fourth inning, Jayla Poindexter drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Samson cut into the lead with a four-run inning the bottom of the fifth, but the Lady Tigers were able to hold on for the win.
RED LEVEL 15,
SAMSON 3
The Lady Tigers finished off the sweep with a 15-3 victory in the final game of the day.
In the top of the first inning, the Lady Tigers loaded with the bases with a hit batter, a single and a walk with no outs in the frame.
Ashlyn Joyner then drew a walk to put Red Level up 1-0.
A few batters later, Ruby Cooper gave the Lady Tigers a 3-0 lead with a bunt single.
Samson added a run in the bottom of the first inning after scoring on a passed ball.
Kaitlyn Beverly singled home a run in the top of the second inning and a single from Summer Beverly had the Lady Tigers on top 7-1.
Samson cut into the lead, but the Lady Tigers answered right back to go up 11-3 in the top of the third inning.
