The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles picked up a pair of wins on Monday over W.S. Neal in Pleasant Home.

VARSITY

PLEASANT HOME 12, W.S. NEAL 4

In varsity action, Ava Bailey had a big day in the circle and at the plate to help the Lady Eagles earn a 12-4 victory.

Bailey was lights out in the pitcher’s circle as she struck out a career-high 15 batters.

Bailey gave up just two hits on the way to the victory.

At the plate, Bailey continued to dazzle as he went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

Natalie Schwartz also had a big day at the plate as she drove in three runs on two doubles.

Hope Gunter doubled and drove in two runs.

Sharea Coleman finished the game 2-for-4.

Tami Hilson and Amy Bulger each doubled in the game.

Bella Worley and Ansley Johnson each finished the game with one single.

JUNIOR VARSITY

PLEASANT HOME 3, W.S. NEAL 0

The Lady Eagles blanked W.S. Neal 3-0 in junior varsity softball action.

Emily Taylor picked up the win and struck out three batters in the process.

Amy Garner drove in one run with a single.

Logan Fuqua and Jill Hawkins each had a single for the Lady Eagles.
