Andalusia Isshinryu brings home medals

Several members of Andalusia Isshinryu Karate recently picked up big finishes at the Gulf Coast Martial Arts Championship Series tournament in Crestview. The tournament was hosted by Gordon’s Martial Arts and features competitors from around the gulf coast region.
Members of Andalusia Isshinryu Karate get opportunities to travel across the Southeast states and compete against people from all over the world.
Andalusia Isshinryu Karate results are as follow:
•Bryden Sims finished first place in yellow belt kata and fighting and second place in weapons.
•Mack McIntyre had two first place finishes in green belt kata and weapons and a second place finish in fighting.
•Ashton Bailey was first place in yellow belt fighting and second place in kata.
•Jacob Jernigan picked up a first place finish in brown belt weapons and a second place finish in kata.
•Taj Patel has made first place finishes common in the black belt division and he once again comes home with a first place finish in weapons and a third place finish in kata.
•April Bickhaus came back with a first place finish in adult black belt kata and she also grabbed a second place finish in weapons.
•Landon Caldwell finished third place in black belt fighting.
•Keith Tankersley had a strong day in the adult black belt division as he picked up a pair of second place finishes in kata and weapons and a third place finish in weapons.
•Johnathan Rudd picked up a second place finish in yellow belt kata.
•Braydon Walker came home with a second place finish in yellow belt kata.
•Brianna Walker picked up two third place finishes in beginner kata and fighting.
•Anna Martin came in strong with a second place finish in green belt fighting.
•In the brown belt division, Jarod Jerningan picked up a third place finish in weapons.
•Blaine Jones finished in second place in the yellow belt fighting event.
