Fundraiser will ‘egg’ yards for Easter

This year, anyone in the Andalusia, Straughn or Opp area can pay to have their yards “egged” the Saturday before Easter.

“Egg My Yard!” is an event that the Company Performance Center Competition Team is putting on to raise money for their trips to regional and national competitions.

“This is our first year doing this and so far, it’s going great,” Shelly Barbour-Wagoner, a dance instructor, said.

“I’ve had about 15 people sign up.”

Wagoner says that all dance competition members are encouraged to participate in this fundraiser.

“All the profits go towards the competition team and sending the girls to regional and national competitions. Each team member is responsible for ‘egging’ the yards of the people they sell to,” Wagoner said.

Wagoner said the eggs are plastic with candy inside and will include a note from the Easter Bunny himself.

It’s $25 for 50 eggs or $50 for 100 eggs.

For anyone who wants their yard “egged” please contact any Company competition team member or email Wagoner at shellybwagoner@yahoo.com.
