Florala blows out Pleasant Home

The Pleasant Home Eagles went up to start the game, but the Florala Wildcats rallied for a 17-3 victory on Thursday night in Pleasant Home.
Josh Ruth got things started in the bottom of the first with a two-out triple and then came around to score off an early to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead.
In the top of the second inning, Neland Stone drove in a pair of runs to put the Wildcats up 2-1.
An error then put Florala up 3-1.
The Wildcats continued to surge in the top of the second inning.
Taking advantage of a slew of walks and timely hits, the Wildcats went up 10-1 heading into the bottom of the second inning.
Walks and errors in the top of the third allowed Florala to go up 12-1.
The Eagles got a run back in the bottom of third when Ruth scored on a wild pitch.
Florala added five more runs in the top of the fifth and held off the Eagles in the bottom of the fifth for a 17-3 win.
