The Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club is calling young artists to participate in its annual youth art contest, “All Through the Town.”

All art entries will be on display at the club’s annual Arts and Crafts Show, Three Notch Market, set for Sat., April 7, and cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

To enter, students should submit an 8 x 11 art piece on card stock or heavy paper depicting a landmark or historical building in Andalusia. Submissions may be painted or drawn using any medium.

Entries should be turned in to art teachers, or submitted at The Andalusia Star-News, 207 Dunson St., but Tues., April 3.

The student’s full name, phone number, school, and grade should be on the upper left hand corner on the back of the entry. Students should not sign the front.

Age groups are Kindergarten through 2nd grade; 3rd through 5th grade; 6th through 8th grade; and 9th through 12th grade. First, second and third place prizes of $50, $25 and $15 will be awarded in each age group.
