Sav-A-Life of Covington County held Sanctity of Human Life candle- lighting/prayer vigil Wednesday evening in the courthouse. The annual event, which coincides with Sanctity of Human Life week, memorializes the lives lost to abortion. Mayor Earl Johnson recently signed a proclamation designating the special week in Andalusia.
“We value the sanctity of life, both born and unborn,” Sav-A-Life board member Jan White said. “Every person and every life, no matter how small or old, is made in the image of God.”
