Andalusia bull rushes Goshen

The Andalusia Bulldogs, on a break from area play, traveled to Goshen where they knocked off the Eagles 52-38.

With the win, the No. 5-ranked Andalusia Bulldogs improve to 15-2 on the season.

It’s the Bulldogs third-straight win since falling to Class 4A, Area 2 foe Escambia County.

The Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 16 when they host Monroe County in a big area match up.

Andalusia defeated Monroe County on the road this week.

The Bulldogs will be pulling for Monroe County tonight as they take on Escambia County tonight in Atmore.

Andalusia’s next match against Escambia County will be Jan. 26 in Atmore.

Escambia County is currently ranked third in Class 4A and leads the area 2 standings.

Andalusia is currently in second place in the region with Monroe County third and W.S. Neal in fourth.

Along with Andalusia and Escambia County, Monroe County is currently ranked sixth in Class 4A.

Only two of those teams can make it out of the area tournament.
