Lady Tigers fall to Lady Bobcats

The Straughn Lady Tigers came out strong, but fell 47-29 to the Paxton Lady Bobcats on Wednesday afternoon in Paxton.
Both teams came out hitting shots, but it was the Lady Bobcats who were able to pull away for the victory.
Playing in just their second game since senior guard Sydney Kinsaul was ruled out for the season, the Lady Tigers still got strong contributions from other players.
Kinsaul tore her ACL in last week’s win over Enterprise and will miss the remainder of the year.
Allie Kelley led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 13 points.
Alyssa Dean finished the game with 12 points.
With the loss, the Lady Tigers move to 11-5 on the year.
Straughn will open up area play on Friday when the host Geneva.
