Simply Donuts and Kolaches in Andalusia will be closed until further notice due to an electrical fire.

Andalusia Fire Department responded at approximately 5:45 a.m. to a call from one of the two customers within the business.

It’s assumed the fire started within a panel near the back of the business.

“There were two customers in the business grabbing some donuts before they went off to go hunt,” Capt. Eric Samuel of the Andalusia Fire Department said.
“One of them had some background in firefighting and actually went to the rear of the business and extinguished it.”

The building suffered minimal damage and no one was injured.
