A Dixonville man is dead after a Monday farming accident. The community is located between Brewton and Jay, Fla.

Daniel Golden, 53, was killed after being crushed by a roll of cotton while working in the field near Dixonville Road and Three Notch Road.

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene; however, Golden died from the injuries.
