Free Thanksgiving lunches will be available from two different churches this week.

Jo’s Community Dinners – an effort of several churches based out of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church – will deliver or serve free meals to anyone who needs it or is alone this Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 23.

The group of volunteers plans to feed 400 people.

Meals will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Parish Hall, located at 1307 E. Three Notch St.

The only stipulation is that those who need their meals delivered call by Wed., Nov. 22. For more information, call 222-2487.

In addition, Green Tree Baptist Church plans to serve 200 for Thanksgiving.
