Beginning Wed., Nov. 1, The Star-News’ home-delivered subscribers will begin receiving their newspapers through the U.S. Postal Service.

“This switch will allow us to further our mission of providing quality community news coverage while elevating the level of service to our customers,” Michele Gerlach, publisher, said. “We feel transitioning to postal delivery will help us maintain continuity of delivery and deliver the best newspaper possible in a timely manner.”

Gerlach said the newspaper also is working to add an e-edition for subscribers in the near future.
