“I’m really proud of the way the girls stepped up and played together,” Andalusia head coach Angie Grimes said. “We had some really good passes, but we are still committing too many errors. Overall, I’m proud of the girls for getting a win on senior night, especially against Straughn. They are always some of our toughest competition.”
Straughn head coach Daniel Rodgers said his team has to be able to finish matches.
“We started off really hot and then we gave them all of the momentum,” Rodgers said. “After that, we just weren’t able to find an answer. Credit Andalusia though, they hit us in the mouth and made us like it, so to speak.”
