Shooting suspect captured in Enterprise

Area law enforcement this afternoon tracked the man wanted for allegedly shooting his girlfriend on Aug. 25 in a trailer park in Enterprise.
A host of law enforcement including the U.S. Marshals, Enterprise Police Department, Dale County Sheriff’s Department participated in the apprehension of Alex Daniels.
Daniels is facing domestic violence first degree charges after Florala Police received a call around 9:45 a.m., on Aug. 25, about a female who had been shot on 7th Avenue.

The woman was sent to the hospital as Daniels, the woman’s long-time boyfriend, fled in what Florala Police Chief Sonny Bedsole said was a, “bluish, gray 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, four door car.”
The car was found in an apartment complex parking lot in Elba, but there was no sign of Daniels, Bedsole said.
Chief Bedsole has said that the victim could be paralyzed from her injuries.
