The Andalusia Animal Shelter is making a push to appear on the Ellen Degeneres Show’s 15th season.
“We want to get the word out about how hard we are working with the animals,” said animal shelter employee Kayla Cleland. “Ellen is a huge animal advocate and we would love to be on the show.”
It will be a big boost in publicity, which Cleland says is currently high, but could get better.
“We already have donors from California, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, not to mention the local donors,” said Cleland. “They donate on Facebook, so this could help that growth even more.”
The Animal Shelter is making their push for the show via Facebook, where Cleland encourages supporters to help get them on the show.
There is a link on the Andalusia Animal Shelter Facebook page with a request form that can be filled out and sent to Ellen to help with the cause.
The link can also be found at www.ellentv.com/be-on-the-show/.
Ellen airs on NBC, and the 15th season premiers Sept. 5, 2017.
The show has won 59 Emmy Awards since debuting in 2003.
