The skull of the 500-pound hog, formerly known as VW, that was killed last week off of Cty. Rd. 70 is currently being displayed at Fletcher’s Outdoors.
John Niedbala, the man who killed “VW,” said that he chose to display it at Fletcher’s because Anthony King, owner of Fletcher’s, was the man who provided him with the “Hog Commander” foot snare that finally caught the hog after six years of chasing it.
An employee at Fletcher’s said that quite a few people have come in inquiring about VW’s skull.
Niedbala said that the skull will remain on display for a month or two.
Niedbala also said anyone else that has a hog problem that they can contact him at Covington County Tree Farm at 334-343-6954 for help.
