ALEA’s Driver License Division has shut down the issuance of driver licenses and non-driver IDs again this morning. A software update during the weekend has caused database issues. The vendor is working on the problem and will have the system up and running again as quickly as possible. Yesterday, the system was down for about two hours.

 

This problem affects ALEA-run Driver License Examining Offices, probate and license commissioners offices, and online services.
