Margaret Edson of Andalusia is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Rachel Edson, to Samuel Moore, son of Tom and Hannah Moore of Andalusia.

Rachel is also the daughter of the late Royce Edson.

She is a graduate of Straughn High School and is currently employed as a call agent for Sitel Work at Home.

Samuel is also a graduate of Straughn High School and is currently employed with Moore Builders as a construction worker.

Both Rachel and Samuel are both volunteer firefighters with local departments in Covington County.

The wedding ceremony will be June 24, 2017, and will begin at 3 p.m., at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Rose Hill.

The reception will be held at Oakwood Lodge in Andalusia.
