Children from around the county spent the last three days learning basketball fundamentals from Pleasant Home basketball coaches Troy Turman and Jerry Davis.
“We have had a really good camp,” Turman said. “We had 24 kids this year. Most are from Pleasant Home, but were some from other schools also.”
Turman said the focus of the camp was to give the kids a base of fundamentals.
“We are doing drills and things to teach them basics,” Turman said. “At this age, fundamentals and ball handling are very important. This has been a good group. They really listen and soak up information.”
