An Opp woman was arrested on drug charges Thursday evening.

Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said that on Thursday night around 10:40, an OPD D-Shift officer was conducting his routine patrol when he observed a while 1997 Ford Explorer pulling into and out of several driveways on Cole Street.

McDonald said the officer stopped the vehicle for investigative purposes.

Caroline M. Morales, 37, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – cocaine – and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McDonald said the case was referred to the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.
