Three local schools represented Covington County at the annual All-State band festival recently. In the middle school band Red Level High School’s Makayla Harrelson, a seventh grader, made sixth chair trumpet in the state. Andalusia Junior High School’s Ethan Shellhouse, an eighth grader, made 14th chair trumpet in the state. Andalusia Junior High School’s Chelsea Baldwin, an eighth grader, made 13th chair clarinet in the state.
