Pleasant Home steam rolls Red Level

The Pleasant Home Eagles took an early lead and were able to coast to a 6-1 victory over the Red Level Tigers on Tuesday night in Pleasant Home.
Walt Weaver singled to start the bottom of the first inning for the Eagles, but was thrown out trying to go to second.
Josh Ruth followed with a single and them moved over to third on single from Aaron Warthen.
The Eagles took the lead a few pitches later when Ruth scored on a passed ball.
In the bottom of the third inning, Warthen ripped a ground ball to center that allowed Weaver and Ruth to cross the plate for a 3-0 Eagle lead.
Garrett Barton then scored off of an error to put the Eagles up 4-0.
On the next pitch, Joe Gibbs launched a line drive over the fence in left for a two-run home run to put the Eagles up 6-0 heading into the fourth inning.
Red Level picked up a run in the top of the fifth inning off a Pleasant Home error.
Warthen finished the game 2-for-3 with two RBIs on one run scored.
Gibbs drove in two runs and finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk and one run scored.
